LONDON — There will be a lot of bleary-eyed people at work Monday morning
The growing number of NFL fans dotted across the UK will be staying up late Sunday, and onwards into the next day, to watch the most American of sporting events: the Super Bowl.
What was once a sport predominantly confined to the United States is now a fast-growing global business, with this year's event being broadcast or streamed (officially) in 230 countries worldwide.
In the UK alone, the NFL is the seventh most popular sport, according to new figures provided to Mashable by sports research firm Repucom. It's behind major disciplines like football (soccer), cricket, and rugby league and union, but ahead of other British favourites like tennis, snooker and darts. Read more...
