The eclipse was at least partly visible in Most of North and South America, Australia, much of Asia and parts of Eastern Europe. In some cities, including Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Havana, Beijing, Mexico City and Hong Kong, a total eclipse was visible
