A small plane crashed into a building at a Kansas airport Thursday, igniting a large blaze.
According to airport authorities, a small plane crashed on the roof of a building at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport, leaving two people dead and five injured.
Initial reports from the Wichita Police Department suggest that four people were also unaccounted for following the crash. The aircraft, identified as a Beechcraft King Air 200, struck the building around 9:45 a.m. CT.
At 9:46am a Beechcraft King Air hit the Flight Safety building. 2 confirmed dead. 5 at area hospitals. 4 unaccounted for at this time.
