If you've never hopped aboard the Arrow train, Wednesday night is the time to buy a ticket
Creating a season premiere that functioned as a "good jumping off point for new viewers" was not necessarily the intension, according to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, but the end of Season 2, which saw the departure of a major villain and a few character arc conclusions that function as beginnings in this new season, just lent itself to such an episode.
"I don't really think there's anything you really need to know coming into it," he told reporters of the Season 3 opener. "It's pretty new-viewer friendly. That wasn't necessarily by design, it just happened to work out that way because of the story we were telling." Read more...
