Houzz is about to do some renovation of its own.
The home-design and remodeling website announced on Wednesday that it raised $165 million in a Series D round of funding led by Sequoia to accelerate its global expansion, and further invest in technology.
Houzz launched in the United States in 2009 with the goal of providing home-design inspiration, as well as connecting homeowners with professionals and products that can help transform their houses.
