Apple has quietly added nine additional automobile manufacturers to its list of brands supporting CarPlay.
Apple's CarPlay website now displays a larger list of major car logos, though at the time of writing, the company had made no formal announcement regarding the additions.
Included in the brand update are Jeep, Mazda, Ram, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Chrysler, Dodge and Fiat. The unannounced change were spotted by Re/code on Tuesday
Previously announced automakers supporting Apple CarPlay included BMW, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissa, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota. Read more...
