SYDNEY — A flight attendant on Australian airline Jetstar told passengers returning from a festival to flush down the toilet any drugs they were carrying.
The warning came after the crew, flying from the Gold Coast, were alerted to sniffer dogs and quarantine officers waiting in the domestic terminal at Sydney Airport on Sunday night. Many passengers were returning from three-day music festival Splendour in the Grass at Byron Bay.
“We have been told there are sniffer dogs and quarantine officers waiting in the domestic terminal. If you need to dispose of anything you shouldn’t have we suggest you flush it now," a crew member told the cabin, according to The Daily Telegraph . Read more...
