Wintry timelapse shows Ohio River freezing over

Slabs of ice covered portions of the Ohio River in Cincinnati on Friday, halting ferry services, but not barges.

The icy phenomenon was captured in a timelapse video shot from across the river in Covington, Kentucky. The fast-moving footage shows the river freezing over as its banks are blanketed with snow.
