LOS ANGELES — Samsung and Lionsgate last week announced plans to bring its latest The Divergent Series: Insurgent promotion to virtual reality — an exclusive VR trailer of sorts — and now we have a better idea of what that's going to look like, as well as when and where fans can take part
The four-minute “Insurgent – Shatter Reality” VR experience for Samsung Gear VR has three unique environments, including two interactive "fear" simulations — one from atop a skyscraper, another facing an oncoming train — that were shot in stereo 4K and rendered in a 3D graphics engine.
