LOS ANGELES — The #OscarsSoWhite hashtag has long faded from trending status, but the lack of diversity among this year's Academy Awards nominees is about to be center stage all over again on Sunday — and that's a good thing.
The uproar has centered on David Oyelowo's snub in the Best Actor category and Ava DuVernay's exclusion in the Best Director field, as both had been expected nominees for Best Picture contender Selma
