Oscar screenwriting awards are like a who's who of talented white men


In the history of the prestigious award's two categories (best original and best adapted screenplay), the big names range from Paddy Chayefsky to Francis Ford Coppola to Woody Allen to Aaron Sorkin. Like the higher-profile Academy Awards' categories for best director or best cinematographer, this behind-the-scenes film work praises a strangely homogenous group
