On the heels of airing the Broadchurch season 2 finale in the U.K., British network iTV has announced the show will return for another season

Stars David Tennant and Olivia Colman, who play detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller, respectively, are both expected to return

The second season of the show has been met with mixed reviews, however.
