The Seattle Seahawks running back is seeking to legally own the sentence "I'm just here so I won't get fined," a catchphrase that he made infamous during the media day for this year's super bowl when he used it to deflect nearly 30 questions from reporters
The Seattle Times first reported that Lynch has filed a formal application to trademark the sentence
The trademark would protect Lynch's right to exclusively sell apparel marked with the phrase, including beanies, sweatshirts and t-shirts, according to the document. Read more...
