Apple is expected to announce its next-generation iPad Air and iPad mini on Oct. 16, but don't expect to hear anything about a larger tablet model.
Apple has pushed back plans to mass produce a 12.9-inch iPad to "early next year," according to The Wall Street Journal .
The report said the company is instead focusing on meeting the huge demand for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
The Journal cited mostly unnamed sources, one of whom said that the output for the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus "remains unsatisfactory," and it would be challenging to pour already-strained resources into larger-sized iPad production. For now, we may have to settle for the 9.7-inch iPad. Read more...
