Sam, as you know by now, became the first openly gay player to be drafted into the NFL in May. He then played well in the preseason for the St. Louis Rams, but was cut from the team's final roster on Saturday, days before Thursday's start to the regular season. Just where he'd end up remained a mystery until Wednesday, when the Cowboys signed him to their 10-man practice squad.
