What to expect
Obama's address will run the gamut of news topics right now. The president is expected to lay out his vision of American leadership, White House officials say, with remarks that will focus on U.S. military actions against ISIS militants in Syria and Iraq. Obama will call on the world to join him in the fight against ISIS, with a focus on the need to fight extremist ideology at its roots.
