If SNL's future looks anything like young comedian Pete Davidson's first appearance on the show Saturday night, here's to another four decades
Davidson, who was cast back in September, made his first appearance in Saturday's Chris Pratt-hosted Season 40 opener during Weekend Update, which was helmed by Colin Jost and new co-anchor Michael Che, a former SNL writer who left to join The Daily Show.
In the segment, 20-year-old Davidson, the "resident young person" and the first SNL cast member to be born in the 90s, took to the desk to offer commentary on a story about a kid who defiled a Jesus statue but quickly evolved into a rant about the upside of performing sexual acts for money.
