SYDNEY — Even though it feels like the rain never stopped and the chill never left the air, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology says it is going to be one of the hottest years on record.
The long-term forecast released on Thursday, predicted a much drier October to December for most of the country. The only place opting out is Tasmania, where you can expect a wetter than average entry to summer.
The heat is expected to create a drier October in central and eastern Australia as well as along the northern coast of Western Australia. The temperature shift could also delay the wet season in northern Australia. Read more...
