The six victims of Friday's mass murder in Isla Vista, a community near the University of California, Santa Barbara, were remembered by the university in a day of mourning Tuesday.
Classes were cancelled on Tuesday, and in a letter to the community, UCSB chancellor Henry Yang and interim executive vice chancellor Joel Michaelsen wrote that a memorial service would be held at 4 p.m. PT. Classes will resume on Wednesday.
