Comcast attempted to counter some of the bad press it has received of late with a 60-second ad during Sunday night's Academy Awards presentation that envisioned how The Wizard of Oz "looks" to a girl who can't see
The ad, for a talking guide that lets the visually impaired surf their TV guides by hearing the names of movies, features a seven-year-old girl named Emily who was born blind. Emily describes how she envisions the characters in the movie. The Tin Man, for instance, has a big toe the size of a house. The Cowardly Lion is like a small poodle.
