Joking that you have Ebola while on a plane? Too soon.
A four-person crew wearing blue hazmat suits rushed onto a US Airways flight when it landed in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday after a passenger made a very poorly timed Ebola joke. According to Dominican press reports, the passenger sneezed and said: "I have Ebola. You're all screwed."
The video above, posted by a passenger on board US Airways Flight 845 from Philadelphia, shows the suited team boarding the plane. In an effort to calm the people on board, the flight attendant says over the intercom: "I've done this for 36 years. I think the man that said this is an idiot, and I'll say that straight out."
