LOS ANGELES — Norm Macdonald, you just shot way up in the Saturday Night Live castmember rankings.


In a 110-tweet yarn that spanned more than two hours Wednesday night, Macdonald, who was on SNL from 1993-1998, told the story of how Eddie Murphy was approached to play Bill Cosby in the "Celebrity Jeopardy" sketch — but ultimately turned it down, deciding that "the laughs are not worth it. He will not kick a man when he is down."
