Senator Harry Reid's 2015 is off to a rough start

The Senate's democratic leader is in a Nevada hospital after he injured himself while exercising at home. Reid, 75, broke a number of ribs and bones in his face when a piece of equipment broke while he was using it, according to a statement from his office.

Doctors expect Reid to make a "full recovery," according to the statement.



Reid was treated at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas overnight as a precaution and will return to Washington this weekend as the Senate reconvenes for the new year. Read more...
