George Zimmerman, the Florida man who was acquitted in the shooting death of black teenager Trayvon Martin in 2012, was arrested Friday on an aggravated assault charge.
Zimmerman was arrested around 10 p.m., local time, in Lake Mary, Florida, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. During a court appearance Saturday morning, a judge set Zimmerman's bond at $5,000, and ordered him to surrender all weapons. The judge also told Zimmerman to stay away from the alleged victim, an unidentified woman, and from Volusia County, where she lives
