The chairman of the FCC, Tom Wheeler, has publicly outlined what the new rules will look like. And, as outlined, they look very good. The new rules will offer meaningful protections for all Internet users — from consumers to content-creators, from bloggers to business owners. The rules promise to preserve the Internet as an open marketplace — one where everyone, regardless of wealth or power, can participate on equal footing, free from discrimination by broadband providers.
