Exactly one year after its launch, the FBI announced that it has arrested the alleged operator of the illegal online drug market known as Silk Road 2.0 and has shut down the website
The FBI said on Thursday that agents had arrested Blake Benthall, 26, in San Francisco a day earlier. Benthall is accused of being "defcon," the operator of Silk Road 2.0 — the successor of the first and most famous online drug market, Silk Road, which was shuttered in October of last year.
