'Superman' Alum Brandon Routh Will Play The Atom on 'Arrow'

A former Superman is returning to TV but this time playing a hero of a different ... composure.

Brandon Routh is joining the cast of CW's Arrow, playing Ray Palmer, known to most as size-changing DC superhero The Atom.

Routh, whose recent credits include a guest role on Fox's Enlisted, is set to recur in the role when the series starring Stephen Amell returns for Season 3TVLine first reported the casting.
