With the help of Kickstarter, Nicolas Cage — the Internet's "one true god" — may soon become the world's largest photo mosaic.
The phrase "crazier things have happened" honestly might not apply here.
The project, created by Canadian artist Thom Malone, has already raised more than CAD$22,000 ($17,500) of its CAD$52,000 goal. Which, again, is to create the world's largest photo mosaic, combining 180,000 images to form the face of Nicolas Cage.
With 26 days to go, it appears that the campaign has a good chance of reaching its goal. According to Malone, however, the project originated as a joke. Read more...
