British snowboarder Billy Morgan landed the world's first 1,800 quadruple cork on the slopes of Livigno, Italy, on Tuesday. Morgan competed for Great Britain at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, and finished 10th in the men's slopestyle final event
His wicked maneuver unseats a record set just last month by Japanese snowboarder Yuki Kadono, who landed a triple cork 1620 at the U.S. Open Slopestyle.
"So stoked," Morgan astutely tells Red Bull. "I’ve been thinking about this for so long, it’s such a relief to have it done. It could have been cleaner, but I’m still pumped!" Read more...
