Apple won't be selling the Apple Watch in stores until June, according to a leaked employee memo that appears to be signed by Angela Ahrendts, the company's retail chief
In the memo, Ahrendts doesn't share any sales numbers, but does confirm that interest in the smartwatch is high — and even though the launch date is just about a week away (April 24), in-store availability will be much more far off.
"Due to high global interest combined with our initial supply, we are only taking orders online right now. I'll have more updates as we get closer to in-store availability, but we expect this to continue through the month of May," the memo reads, which was first obtained by The Telegraph . Read more...
