Powdered alcohol is slated to hit shelves this summer — just in time for music festival season.


Palcohol is a powder that becomes a standard mixed drink containing one shot of alcohol when dissolved in six ounces of water. It was approved by the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau on March 10 for legal sale in the United States, but has already been banned in several states, including Vermont and Virginia.
