AUSTIN, Texas — R&B powerhouses D'Angelo and Mary J. Blige will lend their voices for SXSW Interactive, Samsung confirmed to Mashable on Friday
Both performances — D'Angelo's on March 15 and Blige's on March 17 — will take place at the Samsung Supper Club, continuing the tech company's consistent wrangling of big-name artists. In 2013, Samsung brought in Prince to headline the SXSW closing party. Last year, Kanye West and Jay Z kicked off Samsung's four-day SXSW concert series.
The two shows are invite-only. Samsung device-owners will be able to access performance videos via the Milk Video app, Derrin Woodhouse, Samsung's senior director of experiential marketing, told Mashable. Read more...
