Google's getting into the holiday spirit by inspiring girls to code.
The tech giant's Made With Code initiative, which launched earlier this year to get young girls interested in computer science, is inviting aspiring female coders to light up trees in President's Park, home of the White House.
Starting Wednesday, girls can use a beginner programming language called Blockly to build code that will animate the lights that decorate the Washington, D.C., park surrounding U.S. President Barack Obama's home.
