NEW YORK, New York — Betty Who admits she's a "child of the Internet." At 23, the self-taught musician gained notoriety last year when her catchy "Somebody Loves You" song was used in a viral marriage proposal, helping it eventually enter the Billboard charts.
Now the Australian singer is looking to leverage the online tools that catapulted her career even more. To do so, she and fellow musicians Mary Lambert and Rixton have partnered with American Express to learn how to build their brands using social media as part of the company's new video series called "UNSTAGED: Artists in Residence."
