NFL superstar Adrian Peterson has reached a plea deal that should have him avoiding any jail time in the child-abuse case that's caused him to miss most of this football season, according to multiple reports

Peterson will plead guilty to reckless misdemeanor assault instead of face a felony child-abuse charge, according to reports from ESPN, NBC Sports and Yahoo Sports
