LOS ANGELES — Disney/Pixar is planning a Toy Story 4 for 2017, with John Lasseter directing, the company announced Thursday on its earnings call.
Lasseter wrote and directed Toy Story and Toy Story 2, while Lee Unkrich directed the third installment

Toy Story 3 — which made $1.06 billion at the global box office — showed "these characters are just as relevant — and beloved— as ever before," Disney chief Bob Iger said on the call.
