Those words, the original unedited prelude George Lucas wrote for his 1977 movie, could just as easily apply to this — Star Wars Rebels , the first piece of filmed entertainment to bear the Star Wars name without Lucas's involvement
Rebels is animated and set to be screened on the Disney XD channel, but it's no less Star Wars-ian for it. Watch it and you're likely to feel some very familiar chills.
Lucasfilm has now released the first seven minutes of Rebels episode 1, the full-length version of which won much praise when it was screened for the first time in front of a select audience at Comic-Con. As you can see, the amazing adventure is off to a rollicking good start. Read more...
