Ever wish someone would call during a boring meeting or awkward conversation so you'd have an excuse to hightail it out of there? A new app promises to do just that.
This Is Your Out is an app paired with a physical button that, when pressed, will call you with a valid excuse to get you out of an uncomfortable situation. Ivan Lukianchuk, the founder of TIYO (prounounced tee-yo), is attempting to raise $100,000 via an Indiegogo campaign to fund the product
Lukianchuk credits his wife with coming up with the idea for TIYO after she complained about not being able to get work done because of a chatty co-worker. While videos for the device market it as a bad date solution, Lukianchuk says it's more useful in situations where the victim has an ongoing relationship with the offender. Read more...
