What has David Brent been up to in the years since the end of The Office UK? Ricky Gervais is about to show us
Gervais is set to star in Life on the Road, a film that will show his character's life after he left Wernham Hogg, the fictional paper company at the center of the show, which spawned a U.S. spin-off. In the film, Brent will be seen pursuing a music career and self-funding a tour and album
It will be filmed in the same documentary style that both incarnations of The Office became known for.
Just to be clear, I am not making an "Office" movie. I'm doing a documentary film about David Brent trying to be rock star. Just Sayin :)
