The boomeranging Millennials: It's the generation that just keeps coming back.
Photographer Damon Casarez was sleeping on his parents couch after moving back home because he was struggling to keep up with student loan debt. With feelings of sympathy toward those young adults going through similar financial conflicts, his photo series "Boomerang Kids" was born.
Casarez told Mashable that he started the project because he knew there was "a lot of potential" and wanted people to "be able to see themselves" in photos of others grappling with the same issues, of crippling financial debt from student loans to credit cards. The struggles with debt from new graduates entering the workforce is well-known, but Casarez is aiming to put both a face and a story to these issues in an effort to humanize them. Read more...
