Good news, Hannibal Buress fans: the brilliant comedian, actor and writer will celebrate the Internet as host of the 19th annual Webby Awards
Buress joins the long list of celebrities who've stepped up to host the award show, including Lisa Kudrow and Patton Oswalt, who hosted three times between 2012 and 2014. The comedian will open the show, and will enforce the 5-word speech tradition
"The Internet is a huge fan of Hannibal – he isn’t someone who just gets Internet culture – he is literally helping to shape it every day," David-Michel Davies, Executive Director of The Webby Awards said in a press statement.
