Scientists on Thursday will begin attempts to wake up a robot that landed on a comet nearly four months ago
The European Space Agency will try to make contact with the Philae lander, which is currently taking a bit of a nap on Comet 67-P after a bumpier-than-expected landing in November left it stranded in a shaded area of the comet. Without access to sunlight, the lander has been in a low power mode since then, and needs to charge its batteries in order to communicate with the Rosetta Spacecraft
