Putin discusses secret meeting when he gave order to annex Crimea

KIEV, Ukraine — A year after "little green men" mysteriously appeared on Ukraine's Crimean peninsula, Russian President Vladimir Putin is revealing when he gave the secret order to send in the troops to annex the region, redrawing Europe's borders.

In a trailer released for an upcoming documentary on the state-run Rossiya 1 TV station called Homeward Bound, the president talks candidly of Moscow's covert invasion and seizure of Crimea a year ago this month.
