LOS ANGELES — Whether or not a federal jury finds that Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams willfully lifted "Blurred Lines" from Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up," one thing's sure to come from this copyright infringement case: Artists will keep their mouths shut about whomever may have inspired their songs.
Lawyers for both sides presented closing arguments at the federal courthouse in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, and the case went to the jury.
