Managing a short-term rental, even on services such as Airbnb, VRBO and Homeaway, isn't effortless. It takes an average of 8.4 hours per week according to one study.
Now there are companies that want to take that work off your hands, for a price.
Pillow is one such company which promises to make it "effortless" to host on Airbnb and its ilk. The startup announced Monday it has expanded from the Bay Area to several Los Angeles-area locations — including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, Downtown LA, West Hollywood, Hollywood, Venice Beach, Culver City and Playa del Rey.
