Among Jimmy’s professional suitors, we meet Ricky, an exorbitantly rich man embodying the worst type of Fox News-watching yahoo. Surrounded by mahogany and taxidermied animals, Ricky gets Jimmy's hopes up with the promise of cash — even after he finds that the rancher wants to secede his piece of isolated property from the United States. Jimmy is well aware that this is a ludicrous case, but Ricky evidently has money to burn, and offers Jimmy a $1 million retainer, with half of it up front.
