Toyota’s hydrogen fuel cell car finally has a name and a rollout plan.
The water-vapor-producing vehicle, called Mirai, was first unveiled in June 2014 (its name means “future” in Japanese). The four-door sedan is coming to northeastern U.S. in 2016 alongside 12 hydrogen fuel stations to support the launch, Toyota announced Monday.
The stations will be "strategically" placed in the greater New York and Boston areas, providing refueling networks for New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. More details about the exact timeline will be revealed in the "coming months," according to Toyota. Read more...
