LONDON — It's no secret that craft beer is having a moment in the UK. From Aberdeen's Brewdog to the Craft Beer Co. in Brighton, the number of people brewing, selling, buying and supping interesting brews is growing every week.
Majestic have just reported a 165% increase in sales year-on-year as consumers run screaming from the mass-produced gassy lagers to something more interesting.
“Craft beers bridge the gap between wine and beer," their chief executive Steve Lewis told the Evening Standard this week. "People want something special and more interesting so we are moving away from sales of mass-produced beers,” he added. Read more...
