LOS ANGELES — He had one Jobs job, but Christian Bale bailed.
In a take-this-job-and-shove-it decision that launched a thousand punny tweets, the erstwhile Dark Knight will not tackle the Apple co-founder biopic written by Aaron Sorkin and produced by Scott Rudin after all, Mashable has confirmed.

Exactly why Bale dropped out isn't entirely clear; The Hollywood Reporter, which first reported Bale's exit from the project Monday, said the actor ultimately decided he wasn't right for the part (despite being a haircut, wire-rimmed glasses and a black turtleneck away from being Jobs' identical twin.
