LONDON — Paddington Bear, the stowaway stuffed animal who charmed generations of children with his adventures in London, is being reimagined across the city from Tuesday onward.

The stars of the movie — Nicole Kidman, Hugh Bonneville, Julie Walters, Ben Whishaw and Peter Capaldi — are among the celebrities who designed an updated Paddington Bear. And the bear, who traditionally sports a blue duffle coat and a red hat and carries a brown monogramed suitcase, now comes in a glitter, multicolored version as well as an Elizabethan-jacket-clad interpretation.
